Description

Georgia Military College Augusta Campus is now hiring for a full-time Enrollment Coach. This position is responsible for the admissions functions of the campus. This position assists prospective students through the admissions process from application to enrollment. Enrollment coaches must be dynamic and possess the ability to interpret and apply appropriate rules to varying student-specific situations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with prospective students and applicants in person, by phone, email, and text. Independently makes admission decisions about academic requirements.

  • Assist applicants with the admissions process utilizing Recruit and Colleague, provide basic financial aid information, conduct campus tours, review transcripts for necessary admissions requirements, determine the need for and schedules placement testing, and make decisions about admitting applicants into GMC.

  • Scheduling students for orientations and registration appointments with the graduation coach

  • Other duties as assigned.

*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associate degree or 2+ years directly related experience

Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Experience

Required: One (1) or more years in customer service

Preferred: College admissions experience

Skills

Required:

  • Customer service, strong written and verbal skills, phone communication, and organizational skills.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be physically able to set up and break down the GMC displays, tables, and tents for community events.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Preferred:
