Description

We are seeking a Project Manager based in Martinez, California. This role offers a contract to full time employment opportunity within the Healthcare Industry. This position will be hybrid with 1-2 times a week onsite.

In this role you will need to know and understand healthcare information exchanges and standard healthcare principles/practices in the IT project management space. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

· Analyze technical specifications for data and applications

· Communicate technical information effectively to various levels in the organization

· Demonstrate care in handling customer needs and build a trusting rapport with customers

· Provide and promote excellence in customer service for both internal and external customers

· Acquire product and business knowledge

Requirements

· -Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

· 5+ years of experience working as a Project Manager or Systems Analyst in the Healthcare space

· Experience working on healthcare projects and working with end users, data, databases, implementing and supporting systems

· PMP Certification

· Experience working with Jira

· Experience with modern software development, information systems infrastructure, sound IT processes and practices, and waterfall and agile project management.

· Develops, reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding requirements, sources, and, limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project

· Manages or oversees the implementation and integration of assigned projects from inception to user sign-off.

· Acts as liaison between users, designers, technical personnel, and vendors.

· Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required and prepares project reports for management, client, or others

· Coordinates technical aspects of information technology projects and meet with users to determine needs

· Oversees all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects; directs the completion of milestones throughout a project including the work of internal and external sub-contractors such as cable installation, maintenance, programmers, etc.

· Interacts with intra-department and external vendors and customers.

· Maintains project information database for all projects and performs general upkeep of project information database records and reports.
