JOB REQUIREMENTS: Create furniture using hand tools and power tools such as table saws, drill presses, mortisers, jointers, sanders, routers etc. Build custom furniture for customers based on their needs and specifications. Used a variety of wood types to create pieces including hardwoods like oak or mahogany and softwoods like pine or cedar. Maintained accurate records of all projects completed with details about materials used, dimensions, costs etc.. Follow diagrams for each project, ensuring that designs were completed as intended. Maintained an organized workspace in order to complete projects on time and within budget Measured and cut lumber to the required size using power tools such as saws and routers. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must have ruler reading knowledge Must be able to understand assembly drawings Must have a sense of urgency.
