SERVICE FIRST STAFFING Repair work Estimator in MARSHFIELD, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Service Advisor needed with knuckle boom and material handling crane experience to join our service team. This individual will assist our customers in person and over the phone, using our processes and customer experience standards. All aspects of the service transaction, from taking appointment to completing invoice and collecting from customer are the responsibility of this person. This individual will have deep knowledge of heavy equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and experience in providing estimates for repair work. Responsibilities and Duties: Check in all units over the phone or in person asking good questions about the equipment issues. Write and present accurate quotes and estimates with a deep parts and labor knowledge of cranes and equipment such as diesel trucks. Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units. Organize and manage the service schedule ensuring timely completion of customer units and workflow in the shop. Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency. Promptly communicate with the customer as the repair progresses, giving appropriate updates. Explain the work and charges to the customer when the job is complete and collect payment. Assist with warranty claims at branch level and work with warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma/GED Deep working knowledge /working experience in heavy trucks and/or equipment operation. Great phone and in person communication skills Type efficiently, must be familiar with computers. Ability to navigate multiple vendor applications and websites Frequent to continuous seated work.
