Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for a Small Engine/Fleet Mechanic. The ideal candidates are results-driven, passionate about contributing to growth. 

 

Job Summary

Manage company equipment and yard as well as assist in field operations as needed. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintenance/Repair of small engine equipment including commercial mowers, chainsaws, blowers, trimmers; ability to train crews to perform field repairs if needed

  • Maintenance/Repair of small equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, electric & hydraulic sanders and snow plow 

  • Brakes, oil changes, electrical, etc.

  • Body work and painting on trucks 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 years experience in small engine repair

  • 3-5 years in mechanic repair

  • Valid driver's license; CDL or willingness to obtain one preferred 

  • Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one

  • Hydraulic license a plus
