Landscaping by J. Michael Senior Account Manager in Marshfield, Massachusetts

Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team in our Marshfield office. This person will operate as the lead on all critical business and residential accounts.  The focus of this role is to manage the relationship with the client by creating a positive working relationship and communicating effectively with the LJM crews. The Account Manager is responsible for addressing client issues and responding to questions pertaining to landscape design, installation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate comes with experience in account management and developing new business opportunities among both existing and new customers. Excellent cross-functional experience working with customer service and product development to improve the entire customer experience is a critical factor in this role. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee customer account management – Includes developing new business along with negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profits.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with the team to achieve goals while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with products and services.

  • Ensure delivery to customers - Facilitate the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

    Requirements: 

  • 5+ years account management experience in both residential and commercial outdoor maintenance work.

  • Bachelor degree preferred, will consider Associate degree in horticulture or environmental field.

  • MLP or MCH certification.

  • Current pesticide applicator license preferred.

  • Experience in project assessment and estimates.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.

  • Professional client interaction and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and consistent client follow through.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office and other technologies.
