You’ll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development.

This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026.

You’ll also

• Lead recruitment sourcing strategies to attract top talent based on data analysis and metrics-driven execution

• Develop scalable and streamlined full cycle recruitment processes to effectively select candidates

• Utilize diverse sourcing techniques (active and passive) to source candidates for open positions

• Guide Human Resources and Business Units in creation of candidate profiles

• Partner with community organizations to facilitate the building of future talent pipelines

• Partner and collaborate closely with all levels of the organization, including the leadership team to ensure all staffing requirements are met

• Manage relationships with internal and external recruitment vendors such as RPO, independent consultants, search firms, etc.

• Develop branding and communications to craft the candidate experience

• Deliver and report recruiting metrics and initiatives to the leadership team

• Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters to deliver quality talent for BlueOval Battery Michigan

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, technology and/or engineering

• 2+ years managerial experience leading recruiting teams

• Travel will be required throughout 2024, as well as future relocation to the Marshall, Michigan area at the appropriate time

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Corporate In-house Recruitment experience

• Experience managing a recruiting function through significant change (new systems, processes, tools)

• Proven success managing difficult searches, juggling competing priorities, and handling high requisition loads.

• Demonstrated background in recruitment strategy, conception, and development

• Organizational, communication, leadership, and client service skills

• Experience building and optimizing recruiting infrastructure (e.g., recruiting strategy, budget, tools)

• International and executive recruitment expertise is a plus

This position is a salary grade 6.

This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall, MI, with expectation to be on-Site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

It is anticipated within 30 days of selection, you will become a secondee from the Ford Motor Company to BlueOval Battery Park Michigan. A secondee is an employee who will continue to be employed by the Ford Motor Company, however, will work at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan. The employee will remain an employee of the Ford Motor Company for purposes compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment. There may be additional terms and conditions of employment with BlueOval Battery Park Michigan which will be communicated to you in advance of your secondment.
