Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Marlton, New Jersey. The Staff Accountant will be instrumental in managing and executing our accounting operations. This includes processing invoices, handling bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accurate and timely processing of invoices daily.

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain detailed and organized financial records.

• Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.

• Utilize accounting software to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of operations.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

• Conduct regular ledger preparation.

• Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.

• Must have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.

• Experience with financial software systems is preferred.

• Must have excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.

• Ability to prepare detailed reports and financial statements.

• Experience in performing bank reconciliations is required.

• Knowledge of journal entries is necessary.

• Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Must have a keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.

• Previous experience in a staff accountant role is desirable.

• Certification such as CPA is considered a plus.
