The Software Team at Hologic GYN Surgical division is responsible for developing high-quality software for our electro-mechanical products such as the Fluent Fluid Management System and the NovaSure endometrial ablation system.

Throughout the 6-month co-op you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:

  • Develop embedded software for the next version of the NovaSure system.

  • Design and develop software, test software, and systems, and provide clear documentation.

  • Perform other studies as required.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Qualifications include the following:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the co-op

  • Majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior - we cannot consider Graduate students at this time.

  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Background in C/C++ programming, especially in embedded programming and hardware-software interactions.

  • Additional background in scripting, such as shell scripts, batch files, and scripting languages such as Python is helpful.

  • Ability to work ONSITE at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided.

The hourly pay range for this role is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
