The Co-op Experience: Make a Difference

As a Hologic Co-op, you are not just taking a job; you are taking your place on a global team of motivated, creative, and dedicated people!  The co-op experience gives you the opportunity to shine and share your knowledge, energy, and passion on meaningful projects that impact people all over the world. 

The Co-Op will work within the Information Security, Data Protection and User Engagement department. IT Security is responsible for all digital/cyber security, as well as educating the workforce on cyber security best practices. This ranges from responding to cyber threats to ensuring IT compliance with regulations like SOX, GDPR.

Throughout the 6-month co-op you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:

  • Support the cybersecurity awareness program with an emphasis on multi-lingual phishing awareness, implementing smishing awareness campaigns, and preparing large scale communications on security matters.

  • You will also contribute to Data Protection initiatives including restricting and processing USB access, restricting file sharing platforms, and other initiatives as needed.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Qualifications include the following:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the co-op 

  • Majoring in:  Information Security, Cyber Security, Marketing, or Communications preferred

  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher 

  • Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis

*Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided. *   

The hourly pay range for this role is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
