Your Role

The Canadian Event and Experience Strategist will support the delivery of Signature Moments, third party, alliance, internal events, event tools and processes. Candidate should have experience in leading, developing, and executing events and experiences to target business priority clients by collaborating with teams to compelling content, digital, and physical experiences, and formats.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all corporate events, event strategy as part of a multi-touch campaign, surrounded with associated digital activities (webcast/webinars) and social to drive increased and deeper client engagement.

Effective communication and collaboration with various business units are integral aspects of this role. Reporting on findings and actively engaging in collaborative efforts with different areas of the business are essential components of the position.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in corporate events management and coordination.

• Participate in ensuring necessary, education and communication around event marketing tools, process, CTEBA, metrics, experiences, agency relations, best practices, and response lead management in collaboration with various stakeholders.

• Own a series of third party, alliance, internal and proprietary events ‘end to end’ and activate these events internally:

• Creation of event briefs for newly added events

• Ensure compliance with all processes like CTEBA, GDPR, and Logo licensing

• Manage entire planning process including but not limited to:

a. Stakeholder meetings

b. Project planning

c. Budget management

d. Lead uploading

e. Follow-up plans – working with Campaign Managers

f. Agency focal for event execution (SPOC)

• Identification of new ways to engage clients working with show producers

• Attend weekly cross functional meetings and ensure all event activity is well communicated across the team

• Event closeout including show summaries, key learnings and recommendations for future attendance (third party)

• Participate in travel in live events as approved for Kyndryl

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in third party event management in B2B

• 3+ years of experience negotiating with show producers to ensure sponsorship and presence meet the needs of the business

• 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with marketing colleagues and business leaders at all levels

• 3+ years of experience with vendor management.

• Strong project and budget management.

• Understanding of data privacy rules (GDPR) and how to best achieve our goals.
