Minimum Qualifications:

  • Class G driver’s license with clean abstract

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Work outdoors in inclement weather

  • Ability to work day or night shift

  • Proficient in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality

  • Background of aggregates use in road building, concrete, and asphalt products

Day in the Life

As a Quality Control Technician, you will become an expert in asphalt and aggregate, conducting regular laboratory and field tests to ensure all products are in compliance with standards and procedures. It will be important to ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated and all material is properly tested and examined as all discrepancies must be accurately reported. You will have the opportunity to visit multiple sites in the area, developing a full understanding of what goes into our roads and projects to maintain the highest quality products.
