Donegal Mutual Insurance Co. Lead Quality Assurance Analyst in Marietta, Pennsylvania

Lead and supervise all phases of the production system team's testing efforts; Define and execute testing efforts starting from test estimation to the production launch for all phases of testing functional automation; Work closely with all project team members and ensure a high-quality deliverable for our customers within the personal and commercial lines of the insurance industry; Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) team and design test cases, test scripts, and validation processes based on the system requirements and functional specifications for both Guidewire suite and the integrated system production system environments; Assign tasks and develop and execute test plans and test cases in an Agile work environment, including Sprint, Kanban, Scrum, or Feature-Based. Produce QA documentation and testing evidence, such as test plans, automated and manual test cases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) evidence, defect issue logs, and acceptance sign off; Work with project management, business analysts, development teams, and support teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives; Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases; Develop a solid understanding of our business systems and conduct QA to certify new features and business functions including leading Feature Based Testing (FBT), Early Business Testing (EBT), and end-to-end testing; Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functions. Participate in the planning and development of a testing automation strategy by evaluating tools and adjusting the testing environment and lifecycle accordingly; Execute and analyze manual and automated test results; Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues and system bugs with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

REQUIREMENTS: Position requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related industry plus at least four (4) years of experience leading a Quality Assurance team, including developing and maintaining functional, end-to-end, performance, and regression test suites and strategies to cover all aspects of project development verification; three (3) years of experience performing test planning and execution of the following system features: PolicyCenter  Accounts  and  Contacts;  Quote,  Bind,  and  Policy  Issue;  Renewals;  Cancellation, Reinstatement, and Rewrite; Out of Sequence Transactions; Users and Groups; Organizations and Producer Codes; Forms; Managing Underwriting Authority; and testing policy interaction between Guidewire ClaimsCenter and BillingCenter systems; three (3) years of experience in Agile project methodologies and large project structures, including project pre-inception; inception; Sprint development, test planning, and test execution; and Feature-based development  and  testing;  EBT  (Early  business  testing);  End-to-End  testing;  and  UAT  (User acceptance testing); and three (3) years of experience working in the personal and commercial lines of the insurance industry.
