Lockheed Martin Subsystems Integrity Engineer - Level 2 in Marietta, Georgia

Description: This is a mid-level position for a Subsystem Integrity and Service Life Analyst for Advanced Development Programs in Marietta, Georgia. Successful candidate will conduct vibro-acoustic, thermal, and fatigue analyses to certify that the avionic and mechanical systems meet their contractual service life requirements, and provide the products and source data to safely and economically manage the fleet through its entire life cycle. Candidate will be responsible for working independently on the development of integrity analyses, overseeing Supplier qualification efforts of sub-systems, and establishing airworthiness requirements for avionics and mechanical sub-systems.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical

Desired Skills:

- Experience with mechanical and avionics sub-system qualification and service life management, including:

* Low-cycle fatigue, particularly thermal cycling and duty cycling of avionics boxes and circuit boards

* High-cycle fatigue of mechanical and electrical components

* Strength testing, i.e. proof, burst, shock, and acceleration testing

* Environmental testing

- Knowledge of high voltage design and test criteria

- Knowledge of Lead-free electronics risk management

- Efficient with MS Office Suite

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
