Join our Fabrication team in Marietta, GA, as a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor. In this role, you will serve as a key business unit integrator (BUI), working closely with internal and external customers to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of products and services. You’ll be involved in critical daily interactions with production, quality, engineering, planning, and supply chain to resolve challenges and meet customer needs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate Across Departments: Network and partner with departments such as production, quality, engineering, MRP, and SCM to remove constraints and enhance workflow.

• Material Shortage Management: Track and expedite material shortages by coordinating with Supply Chain Management (SCM).

• Production Floor Coordination: Schedule and prioritize floor activities to meet customer requirements, ensuring efficiency and quality.

• Action Plan Tracking: Drive action plans to resolve MAR make shortages and keep production on schedule.

• KPI Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to MMAS, production control, parts movement, and requirement planning to support shop floor success.

• Extended Support: Flexibility to work beyond a 40-hour week, including occasional weekend support, as required by production demands.

Basic Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of SAP (MRP) or equivalent ERP system

• Experience monitoring and managing in a production control setting

• Microsoft Office computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to alleviate customer constraints.

• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups

• Working knowledge of shop floor disciplines and manufacturing flow

• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings

• Inventory control and material handling knowledge

• Six Sigma greenbelt certified

• Knowledge of fabrication build process

• Experience in a union environment

• Working knowledge in Shop Floor Manager (SFM) and Quality Assurance Documentation System (QADS)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
