SUMMARY

Seeking an Electrical Harness Design Engineer, experienced in electrical schematic, schematic and wire diagram development.

  • Produce electrical wiring schematics and diagrams using Siemens Accelerator/XVE Capital: Schematic and Logic from Electrical Source Data (ESD) such as interface control drawings and supplier specifications.

  • Will support data handoff and coordination with the CAD team for use of Wire Harness Design (Harness XC), Wire Harness Design will be in support of the CAD team for 3D model development.

  • Will work with other subsystems engineers to establish electrical loads and wiring requirements for various subsystem components

  • Must have familiarity with Sizing Primary and Secondary Power Distribution wire IAW AS50881

  • Must have familiarity with EMI/EMC Wiring Requirements and Cable Shielding Principles

  • Will work with Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, and Manufacturing during build and troubleshooting

    DESIRED SKILL:

  • Produce Harness Assembly Drawings using Siemens Capital-HarnessXC

    REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:

  • BS - Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar field

  • Must have experience with Siemens XVE Capital design tools (previously known as Mentor Graphics)

  • Experience with aircraft harness, wiring or cable design/schematics
