**[JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

**[Electrical company needs highly motivated electricians with 3-5 or more years of commercial or industrial experience. Must be able to pass Criminal Background check.

**[POSITION SUMMARY [This position is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial or industrial settings.

**[JOB DUTIES [Inspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely; determines whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code.

[Studies blueprints and schematics in order to plan the material and labor needed to accomplish tasks.

[Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.

[Perform related work as assigned.

**[REQUIREMENTS

[At least 3-5 years commercial or industrial experience

[Must be able to pass Criminal background check

[Ability to read blueprints, bend and thread rigid conduit, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.

[Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and renovation construction settings

[Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects

[Ability to ascend/descend ladders

[Willing to work nights/weekends/overtime, as required.

[Good [communication skills -- ability to interact well with project managers, subordinates, vendors, other trades and professionals.

[Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools a must.
