As the manager, you will be accountable for strategies focused on facilities services including successful planning, budgeting, and execution of construction projects, development and oversight of the preservation and maintenance of employee-occupied facilities, and services available to employees. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership – lead, coach and assist staff to maximize productivity and teamwork. Staff includes building and security technicians, facility technicians and office services.

  • Project management, coordination and relationships – Develop detailed project plans, coordinating with stakeholders and managing resources to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Acts as liaison between business groups, team members, outside entities facilitating communications and positive relationships.

  • Building maintenance - Promote facilities services by serving the needs of stakeholders through the maintenance and preservation of building portfolio.

  • Physical security - Manage physical security systems and programs for headquarters and transmission outpost facilities.

  • Facility services - Manage office services, food service and custodial functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction, project management or facilities management or a combination of equivalent and relevant education and experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in leadership focused on projects and teams.

  • Broad facilities knowledge in general construction management, mechanical and civil engineering and/or architecture required.

  • Knowledge and experience in commercial construction management on projects greater than $5 million strongly preferred.

  • Project Management Professional or LEED certification a plus.
