PREPARE FOR IMPACT! 

The System Administrator manages and maintains the corporate IT infrastructure (systems, network, endpoints) and is the main point of contact for supporting end users. This position will use their strong technical knowledge in computer systems and an aptitude to research and learn solutions to solve difficult problems and proactively contribute to the overall efficiency and maturity of the IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as first point of contact for all IT related issues

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware

  • Support helpdesk efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved promptly with limited disruptions

  • Onboarding and offboarding users 

  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled tasks.

  • Following IT procedures and creating new procedures for newly identified resolutions 

  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for support 

  • Record and maintain an accurate log of troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system 

  • Create and distribute relevant training and support documentation for all users

  • Manage computer lifecycle (Commissioning & Decommissioning and Inventory) 

  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

  • Set up and manage corporate events and meetings

  • Liaise with partners and subsidiaries to support integration needs

  • Participate in various IT and Non-IT projects and proof of concepts (PoC)

    YOUR PAST MISSIONS 

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in computer science, network administration, system administration or related field

  • Designations:

  • AWS CCP

  • Server

    • CCNA or Network
    • 2-4 years experience in an IT helpdesk or support role
  • 2-4 years experience doing system administration and/or network administration

    YOUR TOOLKIT 

  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare)

  • Strong understanding of Apple MacOS, Linux, and Windows Server

  • Strong understanding of SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365, JIRA/Confluence, and Okta.

  • Strong command-line experience

  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team when the task requires

  • General understanding of GDPR or any privacy framework

  • Understanding of device management systems such as MDM, SCCM, Munki, Intune

  • Understanding of network routing, VLANs, VPN, switching and wireless

  • Bonus: Fluent in reading and writing French is highly desired

    YOUR COMPENSATION

    Base Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 USD

    The range of $75,000-$90,000 USD annually, depends on job-related skills, experience, training, education, location and business needs. The range is based on MN-derived compensation for this role. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Only in rare and exceptional circumstances, when a candidate has the experience, skills, and expertise to exceed those required for the position, would we consider paying at the top of the range for this role. Beyond base, a bonus applies.

    This is a full-time, in-office position in Maple Grove, MN. Some overtime (evenings and weekends) will be required and must be available to participate in an on-call rotation.
