Clean Harbors InSite Technician in Mansfield, Texas

Clean harbors/Safety Kleen is looking for a Insite Technicians to work at customer locations, and to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for the successful execution of Bulk Consolidation and assisting with waste disposal, testing water, spills and various other responsibilities. The Insite Technician serves with creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. Transitioning Military , this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life.

Responsibilities

• Make chemical pickups throughout customer facility as directed.

• Conduct chemical bulking/consolidation as required.

• Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.

• Ensure work area maintained in a neat and orderly manner.

• Participate in spill response on customer’s site as needed.

• Attend all compliance and safety update meetings.

• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.

• Operate forklift in a safe manner.

• Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.

• Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

• Attention to detail.

• Able to take and follow direction.

• Able to perform multiple tasks.

• Ability to interface with customers.

• Proficiency in Windows based applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;

Required Qualifications:

  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;

  • Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;

  • OSHA certification may be required for this job;

  • Attention to detail.

  • Able to take and follow direction.

  • Able to perform multiple tasks.

  • Ability to interface with customers.

  • Proficiency in Windows based applications

  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;
