Job Summary: The CNA/Caregiver at Griswold Home Care in Mesquite is responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients in Mansfield and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the home care field, working for a well-respected franchise company. The CNA/Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care needs, and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour, paid weekly. As a full-time employee, you may also be eligible for benefits such as medical insurance, vision/dental, life insurance, short term/long term disability, and same-day pay. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. - Administer medication reminders as directed by the client’s healthcare team. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards of care. Requirements: - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or relevant caregiving experience. - Current First Aid and CPR certification. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. - Must be physically able to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks. - Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or individuals with chronic illnesses preferred.
