Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) Harry Meyering Center supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and community. Then, we want to discuss the opportunities that await you at HMC! Objective: Provide support to those with developmental disabilities in a person-centered way. Encourage independence and daily personal growth while assisting with cares and engaging in home and community activities. Includes working at least every other Saturday and Sunday. Plus, fill-in and holidays. Shifts may include 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or other short shifts, including 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Wage: $16.50 (PT) Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct care for others in an individualized and meaningful way. Assist in personal cares. Engage in community activities, i.e., bowling, shopping, watching a movie or exercising. Complete daily direct care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and dressing. Complete household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all communications to HMC, whether written or verbal, external and internal.
