Description:

IT Analyst (Generalist role for US Site IT support)

The generalist is responsible for the IT infrastructure at the site, and may be involved in server support, networking, workstation support, telecom, product support (such as SQL, etc.), printers and anything else involved with infrastructure at the site.

Generalists will have administrator rights to US NA Infrastructure supported servers serving their assigned site(s). Generalists will lead and implement project plans for their assigned site. They are responsible for communicating approved project plans for the site.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide Acronis & Backup Exec. Knowledge for Site PC/Server Backup & Disaster Recovery Needs

• Provide Active Directory Expertise for GPO/Process ID/User/Group (Adds/Deletes/Changes/Acct. Maintenance), File Share/SQL Maintenance & Migration, & ADAS/Security Express Toolsets

• Ability to Configure, Deploy, Install, Migrate, Order, Patch, Replace, Support & Triage Site Infrastructure as follows:

o WINTEL/LINUX NetPC, Standard & Process PC’s

o HP & Manufacturing Printers (HP, Zebra, etc.)

o WINTEL Servers - Application, CITRIX, File, Process, SQL, VMWare, Web, & WTS

o Telecom — Ethernet, LAN/WAN, Firewall, RF, Routers\Switches (Alcatel &Cisco), TCP/IP, VPN & Wireless

• Maintain Site Process Control Technology Including GE Fanuc (iFix) and Wonderware (Intouch) Systems

• Provide Standard and Local Software Support — MS Office 365, Outlook, Security tools.

• Perform ITSM, MOC & 24/7 Pager Support Maximizing Site Related HW/SW Resource Uptime

• Maintain Dashboard Expectations for Exception & Standard WINTEL PC’s, ITSM tickets, Site Telecom, & PC/Server Vulnerabilities

• Attend & Comply with All Plant IT & Production, FDA & GMP, USI, Corporate IT, & Safety Required Training Meetings and Activities

• Perform Site US Infrastructure Project, Consultation Activities, LEAN Processes and Activities

• Maintain Site Technology Auditing & Security Hardening Standards— Ad Hoc Scanning, Consultation & Remediation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Three years of experience in helpdesk/on-site PC support.

  • One year of experience with iOS Devices.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for interaction across all levels of management.

  • Familiarity with client-facing IT supported systems and internal support procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED from an accredited institution.

  • One year of experience in helpdesk/on-site PC support.

  • One year of experience in technical customer service within private, public, government, or military sectors.

  • One year of experience with Microsoft Office 365.
