Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers to work in Mankato, MN. From: 03/15/2024 to 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The workday may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need. OVERTIME: As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/24/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Prepare soil and cultivate traditional row crops. Dig, rake, and screen soil before seeding. Cut/Mow established grass. May also install sod and erosion control materials. Maintain farm equipment, load sod/crops onto trailers and deliver to customers, mills, and installation sites. Must have the ability to operate the sowing, seeding, mowing, cutting, and installation equipment. Must have the ability to operate the sowing, seeding, mowing, cutting, and installation equipment. Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience, able to lift 75 lbs., able to perform work in extreme temperatures, that requires extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. No HS Diploma or GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
