Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Estimating Rep. This position is responsible for providing quotes and pricing solutions for new accounts, and works closely with the Customer Service and Sales/Marketing departments. Your Responsibilities: Quick and efficient processing of quotes/pricing and accurate set-up of new items Prepare price quotations on new orders, cost and work completion estimates for new projects and project continuations Facilitate the completion of projects from NI to Warehouse to ensure all steps have been completed for the customer Collect information for proper quotations from other functions as appropriate Compute cost estimates of raw materials and subcontracted work and labor Compute profit percentages and add to cost estimates to obtain price and calculate commission rates Partner with buyers in ordering of materials for new items and subcontracted work Lead projects for new item work flow from sales to production Monitor day to day requests and communication on item setup/estimates Work with internal teams to setup, adjust and communicate launching item needs. Quality checking item setups for customers Your Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday You Must Have: Ability to understand and communicate using verbal and written instruction, including communication with other departments Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Software, Adobe) Attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and able to work independently or on a team Willing to look at new and innovative ways to improve methods and processes Good problem solving skills Able to work with numbers and read a ruler to a high degree of accuracy We Would Also Prefer: High School Diploma or equivalent Production Experience (this role will require some time on the production floor, but not equipment operation) Print and manufacturing experience, including production processes, rates and materials Taylor is proud to now offer Daily Pay.
