Waco Scalfolding & Supply Company Equipment Maintenance/Yard/Warehouse Associate in Mankato, Minnesota

We are a family-owned equipment rental company that helps everyone from the commercial contractor to the do-it-your-selfer save time and money by renting quality equipment, scaffolding and tools. This position will work with the team to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, small construction equipment and handheld tools. The candidate will also assist in making equipment recommendations and ensure that units are maintained and in working order. In addition to supporting customer and company repair needs, the candidate will also assist with the operation and maintenance of equipment in the rental department, will assist with ordering parts for repairs and use a computer to process transactions. The candidate will be expected to assist customers with general rental questions and demonstrate the proper use of the rental equipment. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to help with the loading and unloading of company and customer vehicles and the occasional equipment delivery to work sites. Work days are Monday through Friday and Saturdays until noon. Job Duties: Assist customers in loading and unloading equipment Explain the proper operation and safety features of rental equipment Clean and inspect equipment condition for safety and operational purposes Perform general service, maintenance, and repair of equipment Delivery and pick up of rental equipment Preparing, inventorying, and loading customer s scaffolding orders Unloading, inventorying, and returning to stock customer s scaffolding orders Perform other duties as assigned Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-5 pm with a one-hour lunch break and 7:30-noon every other Saturday from April 1 to December 31.
