Job Summary:

As an Asset Data Systems Support Technician, you will assume a role in providing advanced technical assistance for the CCL Technical ERP System, leveraging cutting-edge platforms such as Infoship or Amos, to streamline items, inventory, maintenance, and supply chain processes. Your responsibilities will extend to the creation and refinement of intricate technical data entries across multiple modules, including Job cards, Maintenance object cards, technical asset structure, Items, Budget, and Contracts, ensuring seamless data alignment between Ship & Shore database installations.

Job Functions:

  • Facilitate the delivery of comprehensive user support services for the infoship/AMOS platform with system change requests to data in the system, performing SQL queries, encompassing Items Management Maintenance, and Supply Chain processes, leveraging the capabilities of the ServiceNow ticketing system. Supervise and ensure the timely processing and resolution of Incident tickets arising from infoship/AMOS, while upholding adherence to established timelines. Maintain continuous engagement with the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform to promptly address user queries and concerns. Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of incoming incident tickets from infoship/AMOS, meticulously allocating them to designated teams for swift and effective issue resolution, thereby optimizing operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate expertise in inputting Technical Machinery data for Infoship/AMOS, including Machinery Cards & Items, for CCL ships into the InfoshipSql system. Navigate the complex technical tree-view structure within the Infoshipsql system, meticulously selecting designated Machinery card objects. Perform rigorous quality assessments of data from Infoship/AMOS before insertion into the database, ensuring precision and reliability.

  • Lead the entry of Planned Maintenance Data for Technical Machinery from Infoship/AMOS, establishing seamless links to corresponding equipment within the InfoshipSql system. Skillfully navigate Maintenance job cards within the Infoshipsql system, utilizing load functionalities to generate new Job card IDs and establish requisite links. Conduct meticulous reviews of data quality from Infoship/AMOS, guaranteeing accuracy and integrity before database insertion.

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of Machinery Cards & Spare parts Data from Infoship/AMOS to ensure uniformity and standardization of information across the fleet. Utilize advanced data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel, for cross-referencing with Infoshipsql extracted machinery card and Item card excel files. Implement necessary modifications to the database to uphold data integrity and consistency.

  • Execute stringent data validation of Suppliers Price Lists and Budget data before creation in the InfoshipSql system, ensuring alignment with extracted Global item cards excel files.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required for Science or Engineering

  • Minimum 5-year experience in Systems supporting Inventory Control Management, Warehousing, Ship Technical Engineering

  • Experience with programming within Infoship/Amos systems preferred

  • Experience with data modification, creating data, change data required

  • Experience with analyzing data for pricing, planned management required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • ServiceNow, Analytical, Asset management, Data formatting, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
