The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island seeks a critical careintensivist with 5 years of experienceto join our group of intensivists and advanced care providers to provide24/7coverage in our 10-bedded cardiothoracic ICU. The successful candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills and a strong interest in education and must qualify for a faculty appointment at New York University Long Island School of Medicine (NYULISOM).

It is a leading institution in Long Island and part of the prestigious NYU Langone Health System. In Mineola, NY, NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is a 591-bed tertiary care center with more than 90,000 emergency department visits and inpatient care of more than 33,000 men, women, and children in the last year; the hospital is a highly desired location for quality care.

NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is the main campus for the NYU Long Island School of Medicine, one of the few free and three-year medical schools in the US. It is the site of several training and academic programs, including internal medicine, Urology, Orthopedics, Radiology, and General Surgery.

This is an exciting time for the institution, and successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.

The salary range will be $375k-$450k

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
