Though there are many responsibilities of someone in this position, the primary responsibility is to provide clinical assistance to the ICU staff in the day-to-day operations of caring for critical patients. Individuals in this role will also provide meaningful support through maintaining inventory, organizing necessary equipment, and engaging in basic aspects of patient care. Working hours for Veterinary Assistants in this position will include overnights and some weekends.
