This position will teach and develop curricula for undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and participate in academic governance responsibilities. This non-tenure track position will report directly to the Department Head.\ \ Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teach on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate courses related to public health nutrition
  • Design and update course curricula to align with industry standards and advancements in public health nutrition
  • Serve as major advisor and committee member for graduate students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, fostering a culture of academic excellence
  • Establish partnerships with organizations in the local community, public health agencies, and stakeholders to address local and regional nutrient-related public health issues
  • Stay current with trends and developments in public health nutrition through continuous professional development and participation in relevant conferences and workshops
  • Provide service to the program, department, college, and university
  • Other duties as assigned
