  • B.S. in Animal Sciences or closely related field

\ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in livestock facility operations and maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cattle and to conduct work in the field for extended periods of time.
  • Proficiently with MS Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of light weight, and feedlot cattle health and nutritional management in pen environments
  • Mechanical and welding experience
  • Heavy Equipment experience
  • Basic engine and mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience with feed processing, especially steam flaking of grains
  • Experience with feed management, including bunk calls and diet preparation.
