The Department seeks an innovative leader with established excellence in teaching, research, and administration.\ \ The Department Head of Anatomy and Physiology will lead approximately 27 faculty members who are nationally and internationally recognized for their excellence in comparative biomedical science. The department is committed to continue as a leader in research and teaching in veterinary anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, and pathophysiology. Departmental faculty members provide professional (DVM) and graduate (MS and PhD) instruction in animal welfare, gross and microscopic anatomy, cell and systemic physiology, veterinary education, exercise physiology, immunophysiology, and pharmacology.
