This individual will conduct both fundamental and applied research in pet food processing, and companion animal nutrition and metabolism. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up a closed-circuit indirect calorimetry system and conducting initial isotope dilution studies. Will be expected to conduct animal trials and perform analytical laboratory analysis, including but not limited to proximate analysis, ELISA, in vitro assays, fecal microbiome analysis, and other methods.
