Here’s what you’ll need :

Preferably Bachelor’s Degree / master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 4 to 7 years’ experience in the design of buildings and facilities infrastructure

  • Ability to produce single-line and three-line diagrams for systems, 35kV and down.

  • Understand the procedures for doing a Short Circuit and breaker/relay coordination study and ARC Flash studies using either of the following:

  • ETAP

  • SKM

  • EASYPOWER

  • Ability to take and implement a basis of design document and or a Project Execution Plan to produce deliverables such as plans and specifications under the guidance of the lead engineer in the lead region.

  • Ability to perform footcandle calculations and apply the correct luminaria to the application. Maintaining proper footcandle levels and max to min levels using either of the following:

  • AGI32

  • Visual 3D

  • DIALux

  • Ability to understand and apply proper equipment connections and installation.

  • HVAC equipment

  • User/tenant equipment

  • Electrical service and distribution equipment

  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • REVIT & AUTOCAD experience

  • Backup /Alternate power design experience (Generators, Photovoltaic, inverter system)

  • Data Center/UPS systems design experience

  • Nehr-McGrath Calculations, Cable Pull Calculations, Voltage Drop Calculation
