The Data Analyst will work on the Client Success Platform (CSP), which is a customized version of Salesforce used by our organization. They will be responsible for data administration on the CSP platform to ensure data integrity and accuracy. One of their key roles will be to monitor and provide preliminary approval for review requests based on agreed criteria. They will also be responsible for monitoring bids and proposal budgets and work with proposal and operations team members to ensure that budgets are adhered to.

They should be able to work with senior colleagues to develop intuitive dashboards and reports that will identify and analyse trends. They will have excellent attention to detail with a clear focus on quality of data. They will work closely with Accounting and Finance, Sales Leads, and Subject Matter Experts to identify, investigate and reconcile financial data and bid governance. This role is a key element of the CSP data management team. In addition, they will be responsible for day-to-day data management, monitoring, support, and governance of our Client Success Platform.

Responsibilities:

Jacobs’ Relationship-Based Sales Methodology

Develop an understanding of our Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) methodology and its various stages which are integrated in the CSP Platform. Support sales processes and close-out procedures to comply with requirements for SOX and ISO vertification, as required. Particularly in relation to governance and recording of Go/No-Go decisions and Green Reviews. Develop your knowledge and skills in working within core Sales Systems and Tools (e.g. CSP, SharePoint and Knowledge Centre).

Budget Analysis and Management

Oversee business’ spending for the assigned geography to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately and used according to plan. Create weekly B&P reports and assists with other reports as requested. Develop understanding of accounting and budgeting principles and practices.

Salesforce Experience & Knowledge

Share Salesforce materials, information, knowledge, and best practices with team members in the assigned geography. Manage CSP momentum booking administrative functions. Effectively act as the liaison between our CSP user Sales community & wider stakeholders. Work independently with members of the assigned geography.

Data Health

The goal of data reliability should be 100%, Bad data impacts reporting considerably. Liaise with Sales Leads and Account Manager to validate and clean that data. Perform data analysis and advise improvements based on data. Maintain records, consolidate data for review and communicate findings to company leaders.

Business Reporting

Serve as a Salesforce Point of Contact (POC) for making diligent dashboards and reports for a Line of Business [LOB]. Assisting with data analysis in Salesforce and Excel as needed. Ability to make lenses and dashboards in Einstein Analytics. Liaise closely with our Finance, Sales and Sales Operations teams to establish suitable outcomes to development and amend financial data.

Communication

Act as a bridge between teams, departments & stakeholders to ensure the right processes, actions are put forward, and the inputs are aligned with the desired outputs. Team Player, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the platform. Ability to deliver results for deliverables with tight deadlines.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or any technical / related discipline from a college or university. Significant and relevant job experience and performance may be accepted in lieu of degree level education. All metrics described under the key requirements section above. Quick comprehension and a critical, analytical thinker who connects the dots and comes up with insightful ideas to continually and sustainably achieve work and clients. Ability to facilitate teams in developing and maturing fit-for-purpose, client-centric solutions in all submissions and external / outgoing deliverables.

Organized and heightened attention to detail - able to effectively harness others’ strengths and expertise to deliver desired outcomes, working well with all types and levels of people. Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye towards sales messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, quality, and content. Flexibility and capability to work multiple projects with tight deadlines. Excellent English verbal and written professional communication skills.
