Typical Duties - Operates and maintains injection-molding presses. - Visually inspects molded product being produced to ensure conformance to requirements as specified per the quality inspection plan (QIP) and mold book. - Packages completed product per the packing process sheet. - Completes required paperwork to report production, scrap, downtime, problems and issues related to the equipment and labor reporting. Job Examples - Weight counting, filling totes and labeling product to ensure count accuracy. - Moving product from process to the next - Loading and unloading of components into and out of molds (depending on automation of machine) Skill Level - Acquires basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures; generally, has little or no prior relevant training or work experience. Competencies/ Skill Level Application - Follows established procedures to accomplish tasks. Job Scope/Complexity - Duties and tasks are routine.
