BAE Systems Infrastructure Program Manager I - Hybrid in Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Description

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

BAE System s Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to work in a fast-paced, complex, and strategic product area responsible for developing and delivering critical upgrade capability to the Joint Strike Fighter and future platforms leveraging Electronic Systems (ES) sector-wide business area capability or IRAD solutions. This position in the F-35 Solutions Product Line will report directly to the deputy VP/GM for the F-35 Solutions Product Line and will be based at our location in Manchester, NH.

As a Program Manager, you will support the deputy VP/GM for the F-35 Solutions and partner with the product line directors. You will need to perform tasks across the Project Management processes of initiating, organizing, integrating, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects or programs. Track progress to financial, schedule, technical and/or new business performance objectives. Specifically, Information system maintenance/mergers, seating needs, classified space/IT infrastructure support, classified material/equipment disposition and transfers, CDS, capital projects, JSE, etc.SCG guidance driving major upcoming moves (LEC and AP space), need for 70-90 new F-35 heads, MNS-5 move to Canal Street

This role will be based out of Manchester, NH

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Cross Domain Solution (Mission Systems F-35 Solutions) - Coordinating between BAE/LM/JPO, package submittals, implementation & upkeep of system

  • Classified space/IT infrastructure/Unclassified space/seating

  • Orchestrating and facilitating the move of networks, equipment, and overall infrastructure

  • F-35 Strategic plan for expanding space, identifying seating locations, and forecasting demand

  • Understanding necessary clearance levels and solutions to demand

  • Integration Capacity Planning

  • 9 information systems/Local Area Network- Approval of people on networks, maintenance and updates to networks

  • 2 information systems/Local Area Network Mergers - 1072/1074 & 1075/1099 merger coordination

  • Sanitization Procedures (SAN PRO)- Having SAN PROs in place for sanitization of testing equipment, PME, etc. coordination with LM

  • Security Working Group - Communication with LM PMO on status of Infrastructure projects and overall elevation of needs, requests, and priorities

  • Assured File Transfers- Driving and communicating with customer need by dates and communicating back to program

  • PAR Requests- Receiving, documenting, and submitting PAR Requests to LM

  • Create & Implement Capital projects Understand the requirements, help generate the Request for Capital Expenditure (RCE) forms and lead the project to completion

  • Help design & fulfill a Joint Simulation environment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter that thrives on driving actions to completion

  • Strong communication skills in order to interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Highly motivated with a solution-oriented, continuous improvement mindset

  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Understanding of security and IT guidelines

  • Implementing capital projects

  • Masters Degree

  • Experience leading teams to successful task closure

  • PMP Certified

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
