DEKA Research & Development Executive Assistant in Manchester, New Hampshire

DEKA Research & Development, based in Manchester, NH is seeking an Executive Assistant to the President. Must have a mastery of the English language (verbal and written) and a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must have a high level of understanding and respect for confidentiality.

How you will make an impact:

  • Administrative help in all facets of the organization 

  • Calendar management and scheduling

  • Manage a high volume of e-mail correspondence, telephone calls, and mailings

  • Schedule and coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements including itineraries, flight planning (private, FBO’s, fuel, fees, etc.), accommodations, ground transportation, etc.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, attendees and setting up any necessary provisions

  • Work closely with DEKA Project Managers to coordinate schedules, events, media, etc.

  • Expense reporting and other administrative tasks as needed

Skills you will need to be successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science or related industry

  • 0-5 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrator or Coordinator

  • Passion for technology and engineering 

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Impeccable judgment and discretion, with a track record of handling confidential information

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Experience with travel arrangements and calendar management

  • High level of written and oral communication skills

  • Able to work in a complex environment

  • Problem solving capabilities with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Open to travel as needed

  • Must be able to work on-site at DEKA 5 days a week and open to receiving calls/requests during off hours
