We have an opportunity for a Landscape Technician to join our successful Landscape Architecture team. The role can be based in either our Bristol, Reading or Manchester offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home and in-office working.

As a Landscape Technician at Stantec you will provide technical drawing and graphics assistance, within set time frames to support and illustrate the work of our Landscape Architecture community. You will be involved in the preparation of technical drawings, carrying out photography and photo processing, and providing graphics support to the Landscape Architecture team.

You will have the opportunity to use a range of digital software to produce drawings; including GIS, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Fresco, Photoshop and Illustrator. Training on these digital software packages will be provided where required.

You will be required to use established drawing templates and approaches, have the opportunity to contribute to innovation and improvements in our digital drawing production, and work under the guidance of our Senior Landscape Technician.

Training will be provided where necessary, and there will be opportunities for career development, including becoming a Technician Member of the Landscape Institute (TMLI).

Training will be provided on specialist software, but it would be advantageous for you to have prior experience of software including: AutoCAD, Adobe software (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat), ArcGIS, or Google Earth.

You will be happy working to project deadlines and be happy to take on new tasks at short notice to support the team. You will already be familiar with a variety of digital software and open to developing these skills through taking on training in more specialist software relating to landscape architecture.

If you are looking for a role where you will get to demonstrate your creative skills, utilise your software skills, and provide support to a friendly team of Landscape Architecture professionals then we would love to hear from you.
