The ideal candidate will be efficient in handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This long-term contract / contract HR Assistant position is a terrific opportunity and is based in the Manchester, Connecticut area.

Major responsibilities

  • Research the internet to discover potential customers

  • Oversee employee database records

  • Perform various administrative duties

  • Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable

  • Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

  • Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment

  • Computer Literacy experience

  • Strong familiarity with Computer Literate

  • Knowledge of Computer Files

  • Experience with communication

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Data Entry

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

  • Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
