Total Civil Construction & Engineering, LLC Truck Driver in Manassas, Virginia
We are looking for an experienced Delivery truck driver, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is NOT required. This position is based in Manassas, VA.
Requirements
Able to pass pre-employment drug test. NOTE: This position is subject to federal regulations for drug/alcohol testing, as well as company policy.
Satisfactory driving record (must be able to be underwritten by insurer and meet company requirements)
Satisfactory DOT background check.
Able to assist with loading and unloading materials by hand, as needed.
Ability to drive throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia.
Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Responsibilities
Able to meet delivery schedules while safely operating assigned CMV.
Documents hours of service (HOS) as required by federal and state law, as well as company policy
Ensures proper handling and completion of paperwork (bills of lading, receipts, etc.)
Inspects and reports equipment defects; drives safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensures proper securement of loads.
May assist with unloading/loading materials.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned, including training others.
