Adecco US, Inc. Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift in Manassas, Virginia

Adecco is assisting a pharmaceutical company in recruiting for Maintenance Technicians in Manassas, VA. As a Maintenance Technician Associate you will be responsible for performing emergency and routine maintenance on all manufacturing equipment. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Perform basic PMs, mechanical maintenance, repairs across the site, and assist small scale process improvement projects.

  • Build the foundation for machines, grind, and file machinery parts.

  • Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.

  • Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding, and brazing equipment.

  • Troubleshooting of various types of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems such as Allen Bradley PLC's, VFD's, Conveyors, Motors, and Pumps, AC and DC Circuits from 24vDC to 480vAC.

  • Assists Plant staff with adjustments and changeovers of Plant machinery as needed.

  • Promptly reports to plant leadership all serious equipment malfunctions, and suggested course of action.

  • Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of repair shop, maintenance office, and storage areas including all equipment, tools, supplies, and materials.

  • Observe and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP.)

  • Experience with Volpak, Acma, Euromec, Confitech highly preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar job.

  • Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience or technical/vocational training.

  • Background in industrial maintenance or skilled trades in the food industry is required.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving capability.

  • Must be able to work well in a team environment. Ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.

  • Knowledge of basic computer programs and ability to learn new programs. Ability to multi-task and work independently.

  • Technicians should be able to run conduit and wire electrical control panels according to NEC guidelines. Ability to program Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.

  • Pipefitting, plumbing, welding, and fabrication are preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and vendor documentation.

  • Perfect attendance is a MUST ! Candidates must have own and reliable transportation.

  • Schedule: 6pm-6am-rotating days

  • Pay for this position is $30-$37/hr. depending on experience.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
