Business Development Operations Lead

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Business Development Operations Lead to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, own, and document, where appropriate, all business development (BD) processes

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to understand their expectations of BD and to communicate expectations BD has of them

  • Coordinate with Boeing stakeholders as needed to benchmark and share best practices and to identify opportunities for more in-depth collaboration

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure BD data is shared as appropriate

  • Champion process improvements for BD

  • Identify and communicate and/or create resources to benefit the BD function

  • Analyze BD data to provide insights to the broader team

  • Coordinate and facilitate regular gate reviews

  • Serve as company's main Salesforce point of contact

  • Manage and distribute new business fund budgets

  • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience or familiarity with business development processes

  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, briefing) to a variety of audiences (operational, technical, and financial)

  • Ability to perform data analysis

  • Ability to distill complex information into concise communications

  • Experience with budget management

  • US Person required

    Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree

  • Security clearance

  • Engineering background

  • Project/program management background

  • Experience in aerospace

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Experience with DoD and Intelligence community

  • Understanding of Boeing platforms and services

    Salary Range (Annualized USD)

  • Minimum Range: $97,000.00 to $173,000.00

  • Maximum Range: $120,000.00 to $214,000.00
