Overview We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our (ata engineering team. In this role you will work in an Agile, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment where we strive to build Quality in at every step of the SDLC.

Responsibilities

    • Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyze and validate data based on the business rules
    • Interpret and analyze data using SQL from various source systems to support data integration and reporting needs.
    • Validate data sources, extraction, transformation logic and upload of data into target tables ( ETL pipelines)
    • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive data quality tests to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data integrity issues for new product development initiatives, product changes, policy changes, and database changes
    • Work with other engineers and support teams to identify, log, root-cause, triage, prioritize, and drive resolution of defects.
    • Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing of web applications, performing root cause analysis on defects, and producing, clear, concise bug reports.

       

Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience accepted
    • Coding experience in a high-level programming language (Preferred) : Java/Objective-C/C#/ C/C++/ Python (C# preferred)

Experience

    • 4-7 years relevant work experience (Preferred)
    • Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices
    • 3+ years of experience testing ETL pipelines (Manual and Automation)
    • 3+ years of strong expertise in writing SQL queries to retrieve and validate data based on the business rules.
    • 2+ years of experience in cloud ETL tools (Azure data factory, AWS glue) with
    • Experience working with data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift etc.)
    • Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins/GitHub
    • 2+ years in an Agile development environment.
    • 4+ years of experience in software testing (feature analysis/test planning/ test case authoring, black box/grey box test execution, defect reporting)
    • Experience in health IT (preferred)
    • Experience with performance and load testing (preferred)
