Our clients are our crewmates across the departments . As Technical Lead, you will guide the team in developing simple - to - use, scalable solutions that meet the complex business needs of our clients. You will lead the team in a n Agile design approach to ‘build the right things’ so that we can deliver the most value for the greatest number of clients.

How you will make a difference:

  • Generate robust technical designs for new applications, enhancements, and integrations

  • Empower junior team members through coaching and mentoring

  • Enable emerging platform technologies and connectivity of the platform to the larger Vanguard software ecosystem

  • Create a high-performing culture of innovation and ideation across your team

  • Proactively m onitor implementations for architectural weaknesses and ensure platform health

  • Oversee active development to ensure standards are understood and upheld

What it Takes:

  • Appian expertise

  • AWS experience (S3, EC2, Lambda)

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tools

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in design and development of complex solutions.

  • Experience integrating applications across multiple platforms including Appian and AWS.

  • Knowledge of and a passion for related business technologies, and the ability to research and identify practical solutions.

  • Clear and effective communication at all levels

  • Experience in agile development methodologies

  • Preferred: advanced knowledge of SQL, microservices; RESTful, event-driven architecture

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of development experience.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
