Research Foundation of SUNY/Northeast Migrant Education Program Migrant Educator (Teacher's Assistant) in Malone, New York

The Research Foundation for SUNY, a private, not-for-profit Corporation, is accepting applications for a full-time Migrant Educator (Teachers Assistant) for the Northeast Migrant Education Program for the Malone area. Salary is $24,500-$28,800/annually with paid mileage. The successful candidate will provide high quality small group or one-on-one tutoring including advocacy for eligible students and their families. NYS Teacher Certification or Teacher Assistant Certification and teaching experience preferred. An associate degree in education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience implementing instructional programs with children and/or young adults in a classroom setting. Strong communications and record keeping skills required. This unique opportunity allows the individual to work with students at the district buildings during and after school hours. Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance for anyone working over 18.75 hours per week.
