As a Background Investigations Specialist at Avanade, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate and provide support to our global at-hire and client-required background investigation programs.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with experts across the organization to deliver process improvement and service expansion as it relates to delivering background checks as a service

  • Act as an intake and escalation point of contact for client-required checks outside of North America and at-hire required checks globally, including supporting the review and set up of client required investigations

  • Collaborate with in-market HR, TA and legal teams to ensure that background check processes and procedures comply with company policies and legal requirements

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information obtained during background checks

  • Participate in the creation and delivery of large-scale global projects and initiatives connected to our global background investigations program

Skills and experiences

  • You like have a few years of experience in HR, auditing, or compliance, previous experience in background investigations or TA is a plus

  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Previous experience working with Workday and/or ServiceNow is a plus

  • Comfortable and excited work with a globally distributed team
