LTD Global Virtual Accountant in Makati City, Philippines

OBJECTIVE:

 

To record financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and enter file data in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring excellent financial management at all times. Kindly note that this is a remote position that starts with 20 hours per week.

 

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

  • Enter payments in a timely fashion

  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly

  • Manage accounts payable and ensure payments are made in a timely manner

  • Tag and monitor fixed assets

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of every bank account

  • Assemble information for external auditors for annual audit

  • Record all financial transactions and create reports

  • Maintain Chart of Accounts

  • Issue financial analysis of financial statements on monthly and as-needed basis

  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Five to ten years working in an accounting role

  • Intermediate or better skill level with Excel and QuickBooks

  • Must be able to produce a full set of financial statements through the entering of source documents, subsidiary journals and adjusting journal entries into the software program, to produce reconciled balances for all balance sheet accounts

  • Available to overlap partial working hours with California
