JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for security, software, government, automation, troubleshooting, networking, reporting, training, data-based and wireless configuration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Configure cardholders, cardholder groups, access rules, schedules, and other baseline features related to the enterprise access control system.

  2. Configure basic access control alerting such as door held open, door forced open, panic buttons, emergency door release buttons, etc.

  3. Monitor physical security device status across all locations globally by leveraging alerting, health dashboards, and reporting features within the enterprise security platform (access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarms, etc.).

  4. Assess reported issues related to doors/locks/badge access and leverage internal troubleshooting processes to reduce external vendor troubleshooting/repair spend.

  5. Open service repair tickets internally with D&T and external providers and monitor and communicate status to stakeholders to ensure timely response/issue resolution.

  6. Schedule and perform system device testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.

  7. Provide system admin-level support and complete administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Experience in technical support and troubleshooting

  2. Understanding of basic physical security systems network configuration (desired)

  3. Expertise in access control and video surveillance systems (desired)

  4. Genetec Certification (desired)
