Pfizer Senior Supply Chain Quality Manager Philippines in Makati City, Philippines
The main responsibility of the Senior Supply Chain Quality (SCQ) Manager role is to lead a team of SCQ professionals in Philippines . The Senior SCQ Manager is accountable to ensure that they establish and maintain an appropriate and sustainable Product Quality System and Quality Culture at the Pfizer Country Offices (PCOs) in order to ensure compliance with Pfizer Quality Standards and Regulatory Authority expectations. The team will also be responsible as the main point of contact for the investigation and resolution of all product quality issues discovered or originating in the Pfizer Country Office (PCO) and for interacting with the relevant local stakeholders (such as Regulatory Affairs, Global supply Chain (GSC), Medical, BU) and PGS on such issues. The team will also monitor the product quality and compliance activities at the PCO, to ensure current regulatory expectations are met, and facilitate internal and regulatory GMP inspections.
Senior SCQ Manager will be the primary contact point for business partners both internal and external. It will be responsible for the management of the SCQ local market and the Hub Activities in Philippines .
JOB SUMMARY - MAIN AREA'S OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overseeing GMP/GDP and Quality Operations in the market and responsible for the Release of imported products , Redressing and Relabelling.
Ensuring effective and efficient quality and compliance systems are in place, governing all market and supply operations, including Hub activities (Quality Complaints Process and/or Batch Release).
Ensuring appropriate resources are in place and are effectively organized to support the timely and compliant release for sale activities
Developing, implementing and continuously improving quality systems that assure compliance with Pfizer and regulatory requirements, enhance quality and mitigate risks.
Working collaboratively with other functions and groups including GSC and Regulatory Affairs to enable product supply
Coordinating and promptly performing any recall operations for medicinal products.
Managing a team based in Philippines and providing leadership, direction and development to Supply Chain Quality colleagues in the market.
Drive team engagement, and effective communication and development of direct reports by being available and present.
Supporting the development and execution of SCESQ objectives.
Facilitate development and execution of objectives consistent with SCESQ Goals and strategies.
Supporting the recruitment, training and development of Supply Chain quality colleagues.
Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or equivalent degree
A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a quality role
A minimum of 5 years leading a team of colleagues
Demonstrated ability to influence when necessary, particularly with stakeholders and external parties (Board of Health and external business partners)
Demonstrated business acumen
A track record of continuous improvement and balancing efficiencies and effectiveness in processes
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation and also use communication to demonstrate the value of the quality organisation
Demonstrated ability to act decisively, assume leadership in varying situations and ensure that quality continues to add value to the business
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations

Knowledge of GMP/GDP and Quality Operations in the market and accountable and responsible for the Release of imported products into the market.
